The Christensen branch of our family begins with Clifford Alvin Christensen (1919-1972) and Audrey Elizabeth Radloff (1921-2000)

Clifford A Christensen, who was known to most people as Kip, was born in Waupaca, Wisconsin, on November 21, 1919. Kip’s parents were Christian and Marie Christensen, who farmed in Waupaca County and had seven sons and one daughter.

Audrey E Radloff was born July 5, 1921, in Almond, Portage County, Wisconsin. Her parents were Frank and Ethel Radloff. Also farmers, Frank and Ethel had two sons and three daughters.

Kip and Audrey lived much of their married lives together in Michigan. After the end of the Second World War, they purchased wooded lakeside acreage near Traverse City. There they built a cabin in the woods and raised two daughters.
