The Duwe branch of our family begins with Donald Matthew Duwe (1911-1980) and Itola Francis Wolf (1920-1990).

Donald Matthew Duwe was born January 12, 1911 in Door County, Wisconsin, to John H and Mary A (“Mayme”) Duwe.

Itola Francis Wolf was born October 23, 1920, in the Town of Richmond, near Shawano, Wisconsin. Her parents were Albert and Valeria Wolf.

Don and Tolly were married in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on June 14, 1941. They had three children: Ronald(1941- ), Barbara (1947- ), and Mary (1953-2008).
